Neal S. Meyers has a litigation practice which focuses on the fields of employment law, construction contracts and disputes, disability access and discrimination, premises liability, property damage, and public entity defense. His employment law practice involves the representation of private and public sector employers in claims arising under anti-discrimination laws, wage/hour laws, in administrative hearings and in jury trials. Meyers also represents clients in construction claims, contract disputes and other matters.

Meyers is a lecturer and writer in the fields of employment law, the Tort Claims Act, and public and private construction claims. He is a Barrister in the Oliver Wendell Holmes Inns of Court. Meyers has achieved the highest rating for his litigation skills from the nationally recognized peer review organization, Martindale-Hubbell.

Meyers attended the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, where he graduated with highest honors. He received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he had served as a staff writer for the California Regulatory Law Reporter. Meyers was admitted to the practice of law in California in 1983, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Representative Matters
Meyers has successfully defended employment and tort claims brought by mid- and senior level employees against their employer, including whistleblowers and discrimination allegations.

He has favorably resolved construction and inverse condemnation lawsuits, including flood claims and construction delay claims caused by the unexpected imposition of environmental regulations.
