Steven Burke is a member of the firm’s civil litigation practice group. Mr. Burke focuses his practice in general civil litigation with an emphasis on tort litigation and insurance defense.
While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Mr. Burke received several Witkin and CALI Awards for Academic Excellence by earning the top grades in areas including land-use planning, community property, the law of democracy and remedies. During this same time Mr. Burke was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services stemming from his volunteer activities with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, clerked for several local attorneys and graduated in the top ten percent of his class.
